Apple Crumble

Ingredients

385g can of pie apples

1 cup rolled oats

½ cup plain flour

4 tablespoons low fat margarine spread, softened

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Place pie apples in a baking dish lined with baking paper.

  3. Use your fingertips to rub the margarine spread, rolled oats, plain flour, brown sugar and cinnamon together until it resembles breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples and bake in the oven for approximately 15 minutes or until golden.

  4. Serve with a scoop of low fat ice cream.
