Invite Lead Ted Jnr and our educators to your preschool to help your students learn about being LeadSmart with our fun interactive Lead Ted Roadshow!

Each preschool incursion session runs for approximately 30 minutes and will engage your students in activities to help them develop knowledge and skills to apply LeadSmart behaviours in their daily lives.

Throughout each session students will:

• Identify lead as harmful to their health and bodies. They will learn that lead is found throughout Broken Hill and can make people sick.
• Understand that lead can be found on objects in their backyard (such as toys) and in soil, dirt, and dust. They will learn strategies to prevent lead harm, such as washing their hands and removing shoes before entering their home.
• Learn the importance of a healthy diet and keeping a full stomach in order to absorb less lead throughout the day.
